Progress update on our open-air Visitor Centre at Reteti!
Construction of our Visitor Centre is well underway, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch it take shape! Everything here is crafted from natural materials – from the earthen floors (yes, we even use elephant dung!) to our clever, eco-friendly scaffolding.
The final touches are being made to this purposefully designed exhibit centre which will soon welcome its first visitors to experience firsthand what it takes to rescue, rehabilitate, and release elephant orphans back into the wild.
This one-of-a-kind space will soon open its doors to international visitors, local schools, and our neighbouring communities – bringing us all together in support of Reteti’s powerful model of locally-led conservation!
