World Elephant Day - Wild Rose Project

We are teaming up with Wild Rose!

We love partnering with local, ethical and sustainable brands like Wild Rose! Not only are our values aligned but they also love elephants and understand the important role they play in this landscape of North Kenya, not only for the environment but also for the local people. Wild Rose, a local Kenyan eco fashion brand pay homage to the importance of the natural world by naming each shirt after local plants and flowers using their Swahili names.

They are committed to supporting local industries, including working with artisan communities in India, Ecuador and Kenya to make these beautiful and unique shirts. Their work is closely aligned with local NGOs to help street children and provide job opportunities for unemployed youths.

However this month, when you purchase a one of a kind shirt you are making an enormous impact to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned and orphaned calves and empower our community who are living alongside them. That’s our kind of shopping! We feel it’s important to support local business and in return Wild Rose are giving 100% of their sales for the month of August to the Reteti elephants.
