When Meibae lost her mother to natural causes over 3 years ago, we wouldn’t have predicted that she’d grow into the most delightful leader here at Reteti. She is very independent, gets on with her daily activities at her own pace, holds onto her milk bottle for as long as possible and certainly doesn’t like being told what to do! All that being said, we know she is really a gentle giant at heart. Over the last 3 years, we’ve watched her look out and care for the other orphans at Reteti without hesitation with her big heart.
