What are the Reteti Keeper T-shirts made of?
Ethically sourced, GOTS-certified, raw organic cotton – which is collected by the kilo from smallholder farmers around Kenya. Wildlife Works, our Kenyan partners in Rukinga, diligently follow farm-to-fabric steps to produce every T-shirt in their EcoFactory, which employs more than 70 local women and 5 local men.
How does shipping work??
Our shipping partners ship from their international facilities with all major e-commerce logistics companies (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post, Australia Post, and UK Royal Mail). All activities are tracked.
Products from Imani Collective are shipped with DHL Express from our Kenya office.
Products produced by Printful are shipped from North American and European facilities with reputable carriers such as USPS, FedEx, DPD, and DHL.
When will I receive my goods?
It generally takes 4-5 working days for the US, and approximately 8 working days for further afield (eg AUS).
Who receives the proceeds of the sales from our online store?
100% of all proceeds are donated directly to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary – which is entirely community-owned and -run. The sanctuary’s keepers, who are all Samburu and from the local community, play an all-important role in the rehabilitation of Reteti’s orphaned elephant babies. They are protectors, caretakers, and educators – all in one! It’s an enormous responsibility to be an elephant keeper – and Reteti’s keepers spend every waking hour caring for the sanctuary’s little calves. Their impact on these calves’ rehabilitation is immeasurable, and they are crucial on their journey back to the wild!
